Homework in Latex

I did not expect my outfit to influence a task like assembling furniture. There was no practical reason to take off my latex catsuit simply because I was building and painting a shelf, so I kept it on.

In the past, I handled furniture assembly in loose, casual clothing. It was purely functional and often monotonous. Doing the same work while maintaining a composed and structured appearance changes the experience. Looking intentional makes the otherwise routine process feel more deliberate.

Crawling on the floor in Ballet Heels is unusual. Moving at ground level requires attention to balance, and kneeling is less comfortable than walking. Walking in them is far more enjoyable. At one point, I realized I had left the screws and the cordless drill on the opposite side of the room. That meant I had to stand up repeatedly and cross the space in Ballet Heels. Whether intentional or not, those small walks interrupted the monotony and made the task more dynamic.

While painting, the Ballet Heels turned out to be practical. Without using a ladder, I could reach significantly higher areas of the wall and shelf than usual. They effectively extended my height and reduced the need for additional equipment. Standing on a ladder in Ballet Heels felt unstable, but the challenge added a certain intensity. No risk, no fun.

The latex catsuit also proved functional. Paint drops did not soak in or stain the material. They could be easily wiped off the smooth surface. Instead of worrying about fabric absorbing color, I could focus entirely on finishing the work cleanly and precisely.
